Quick Hamburger Recipes

If you are like most working women today, you need some ideas for easy and fast dinners that taste great and are not too complicated. Well, one of the best ingredients to have on hand for such times is ground beef of whatever sort you like best. I like the ones that have very little fat in them but which ever kind you like best is fine. With ground beef, you will find that there are a lot of quick hamburger recipes you can make that will taste great and will please the whole family. Believe me, these simple and quick recipes are much better than take aways that cost twice as much and are not nearly as healthy.

One of the best is really quite simple and delicious, and the whole thing can be made in one large skillet. Simply cut up a green pepper and an onion into small pieces, add them to the hamburger, and brown the meat in the skillet. If there is grease left in the pan drain off as much as you can but leave a little in the pan.

Then add a can of diced tomatoes; they come in flavors now and I like the Italian flavor. You can use whichever you like best, including just the regular original ones. Fill up the empty tomato can with water two times and add that to the meat. Then add one can full of rice to the mixture cover it and let it all simmer together until the rice is cooked. Add a salad and some crusty bread from the bakery section of your market and you have a delicious meal that took only a short time to prepare.

At the end of a long day, nothing brings the family closer together than sitting around the table and breaking bread together. Quick hamburger recipes like this one can make all that a little easier on the cook who is probably tired at the end of the day just like everyone else.
